Claire Ghattas

Claire Ghattas is owner/administrator of Claire’s Montessori International Academy. Claire received her Early Childhood Montessori diploma from the Montessori Teacher College of Sacramento. She has had management training through AMS and has also completed the RIE (Resources for Infant Educators) training. Claire is a member of the IMC (The International Montessori Council) and she continues to deepen her understanding of the Montessori philosophy and methodology by attending workshops and conferences. Claire was an executive secretary before she came to the United States. While in the US, she started a small school from her home in 1994 and in 1998, to meet the expanding needs of the children in her care, she moved to her current location and the school became known as Claire’s Montessori School. Claire is now expanding her school to include elementary aged students and the school will be now be doing business as Claire’s Montessori International Academy.
