Welcome to Claire’s Montessori, where imagination has a home. We are honored to share more about our school and are thrilled to meet you.
The school was established in 1994, with humble roots. Our founder, Claire Ghattas, saw the need for high quality Montessori education in our local community and leapt at the opportunity to make a difference. Over the course of 30+ years, Claire and our dedicated team were able to turn a small school into a unique educational institution where every child is seen, supported, and inspired.
Our private Montessori school offers children as young as 6 weeks and up to the 6th grade a well-rounded curriculum. We foster independence, curiosity, critical thinking, and confidence. Children are able to experience the freedom they require to grow, while we lovingly guide their physical, social, emotional, and intellectual education.
Our team believes in the power of strong partnerships and open communication between our school, families, and the local community. We are a peace-driven organization and model respect through daily interactions. In doing so, we ensure a safe and welcoming space where every child is valued and diversity is embraced. We are not just a school; we are a village.
Our mission is to foster self-directed learning as students gain physical, social, and emotional skills in a caring environment. This can be seen in every aspect of the school, from our meticulous adherence to true Montessori methodology to teaching positive, peaceful resolution amongst peers. The result is a child who functions at a high level academically, but who is also better prepared to thrive throughout a variety of life experiences.
