Mindfulness

Mindfulness and Students

“Studies find that youth benefit from learning mindfulness in terms of improved cognitive outcomes, social-emotional skills, and well being. In turn, such benefits may lead to long-term improvements in life.”

Research has shown that social skills developed in the early years can have lasting effects. For example, strong social skills in kindergarten have been linked to improved education, employment, and mental health outcomes in adulthood.

By incorporating mindfulness into our daily routines, we help children build the foundation for emotional regulation, focused attention, and compassionate interaction with others.
